Bill, The internet analysts do not consider the internets are overvalued technology stocks. The internet is expanding rapidly and has yet not reached 50% of US homes. Nor have they figured out how to be profitable in the long-term; or what the probability is of there being a long-term. In these analysts' minds the concern about discounting future uncertainty does not apply. So go manias and their analysts. (Unfortunately I couldn't find the link to the news article.) Is there a DOW sell theory for tulips, southsea properties and internets? Caution on buying internets it is a long way down before their prices are properly discounted. Skeet (We will probably see a furry of broker buy recommendations now as major clients want to get out.)
