SPZ 1288.5 -2.5

I went to sleep early last night...so I woke up a 1/2 hr early this morning?<g> Not sure I feel that great...I think I need the weekend to get charged back up and get some exercise.

I always look for something to trade. I don't like sitting on the sidelines. I really have to be in the mood to short? I saw a dozen stocks to short yesterday but couldn't pull the trigger. I guess I'd rather sit and wait for pullbacks then go long when volume turns positive. Makes for some boaring days sometimes. That's why yesterday was tough for me. Mid morning I really couldn't see any opportunities to go long. Wednesday was a little better stocks where moving up/down almost hourly looking for direction. It was easy to spot inbalances. AIRO PPRO ATHM LU Tue/Wed the market was strong @ open for maybe 5 mins<g> aside from the few stocks that had momentum in the morning the overall market was moving down. Anything strong was eroding hard by the afternoon. This pattern has been evident all week. After we broke the DOW 200dma for the first time I became very nervous. I had covered my only short yesterday afternoon before the big downward move. I didn't see that coming. But it didn't take long to see it was serious. I spent my time looking over put options. Perhaps I should have been looking to short? Well, today is another day. If you miss a move in a stock another one always comes along......I never chase anything I'll be looking for the overdone today for intraday trades. I'm not in a race, if I see an opportunity I'll take it. The main thing is capital preservation. I know it takes twice as long to recover from losses so I choose to take smaller profits and avoid the losses...all those minor wins add up!

LU bearish triangle down....I'll probably be nibbling here sometime today..

I keep hearing talk about the floor @ Dow 10,100,
well, my view is 9800? But I'm flexible....I go where the market goes... but will I short?<g>
