A question for you, sir...I see the debt all around me, and agree that it is still a sword of Damocles over us, but so has it been for four or five years now.

But where are derivatives today? Have they all been unwound after the LTCM disaster, or did they merely become a tad more conservative and go underground?

I believe the reason the this thread has expired is that we have nothing obvious to talk about. Have derivs gone away, or are they still there, lurking and bubbling under the surface?
