I tend to use TRIN as a confirmation of another indicator. Typically I use Bollinger bands and MA trend slope for timing but use RSI, Stochastics, VIX, and TRIN for confirming signals and for "general market" indicators (i.e., don't go long in the face of 90% RSI unless you keep your finger on the trigger). Good point on TRIN being used as a "stand alone" indicator. I certainly wouldn't trade just off of that either. Matt
