Of course, but all you bad guys will have plenty of time to really "mess up" the market during the morning session, before you hop a plane outa Dodge.

Ken

And of course, with all the day traders traveling and away from their PCs, anything can happen <g>.

From the Daytrading Expo:

We had a great time last night. The mood here is more electric than a Shriners convention. Actually, the standard joke among traders attendees you pass in the hallway is a derivation of why you're not out killing somebody. Clearly everyone has had it with the media portrayals.

I ran into a number of the speakers. One of the most fascinating was a 30 year old market maker from the Pacific Stock Exchange. Was with Tony Oz at the time, and this guy made us feel way inadequate. He was buggy-eyed though after closing out in SF earlier in the day.

Our biggest disappointment was the non attendance of KM. We exchanged various conspiracy theories and are now fairly certain she was responsible for both the earthquake in Taiwan and Elway's retirement.

Ran into Tim Berquin, the expo organizer just as I was headed to bed. He said over 50 media outfits will be here this weekend.

Finally Oz is really a middle-aged woman named Louise.
