FVCX -- Bell Atlantic entrance to NYC & plan to offer a range of products ? 2 pts: 1. FVCX demo?ing in NJ 2. Situation reminds me of 2 other Bell co?s (a) Cincinnatti Bell (if I rem correct) offered Internet Call Waiting from InfoInteractive (IIA.ase) about 1 « yrs ago ? gave a good boost to IIA (b) Bell South began offering RIM.tse (RIMM)?s 2-way inter@ctive pager services as an add on ? RIM.tse then listed on Nasdaq , then a few on-line brokers began offering the service (Fidelity, then Siebert) ? RIM was about $7 Cdn at the time of the Bell South deal and now about $45 Cdn I think the move of RIMM (which listed in the US mkts and whereas IIA.ase did not ? mistake for IIA.ase) is very indicative of the move FVCX can make?.initially. For the intermediate term, don?t get me started on the comparison to Real Audio (RNWK) ? if FVCX coins/brands it to consumers as Real Video, it?s a GRAND SLAM folks !
