Mike,

<< funny and ironic that an anonymous thread can impose rules...like no rude behavior >>

Not really so OT, since kind of a theme of this thread.

There is of course an early on Internet term called "Netiquette". It originated in the early days of Usenet, long before the advent of graphical browsers and widespread web usage. It is a convention, not a rule, and it is based on common courtesy. Participants on this thread attempt to practice it. I'm not sure we always succeed <g>.

Breach of "Netiquette" invites Flaming. I personally abhor Flaming.

For rules SI has the New Qualcomm thread. The rules exceed SI's Terms of Use, but they serve an important purpose (narrowed, focused, discussion on a much talked about stock) and they are part of the topic. It is an attempt to "impose" rules. Seems to work (surprisingly). For its antithesis, we have New Qualcomm II. In between, we have "Coming Into Range". Something for everybody on SI.

Your Right. Way Cool!
