Well I guess that everyone is pretty bummed out about the last post. The consolation is that ECD has already produced a higher specific energy battery than the 70 Whr/Kg The cost structure of the Ovonic battery is dropping rapidly. I see that Best Buy is selling CD RW drives for a very cool $129. US after rebates. This is for a 4 4 20 drive which blows away the competition from just about any standpoint. The media is cheaper than the Zip drive it holds more data than the Zip. It functions as a reasonably fast CD. The price is cheaper than a CD burner. It is a shame that it wasn't DVD RAM with its higher capacity.
