I have a celeron 400, but one of the system tests benchmark on Norton System works?) says it's a genuine intel 333mhz? What does this mean...What do I really have installed?

The first thing I suspect is Norton System Works. How old is your copy? Except for the second level cache there is no difference between a Celeron and an Intel Pentium II CPU. Hence I am not surprised Norton System Works can't tell the difference between an Intel Pentium CPU and an Intel Celeron CPU. One way to determine what CPU you have installed is to look at the very first display shown on your monitor when you boot up. On the third line down from the top mine reports the type of CPU that is installed. Perhaps your computer does to. If not there are some utility programs available that can determine the type of CPU installed in a computer. Give me a couple of weeks and maybe I can remember the name of one.
