I mean look at YHOO, you would think that would have been a great short with it trading near the top of it's range and the market falling apart then today they announce a deal to start Yahoo in China. That is the problem with betting against new companies, you never know when the next big deal will be announced. I mean if you are sure a stock will miss it's earnings or is having pricing pressure then it is the time to short but just going on over valuation with Internet stocks can be very difficult because not many people can accurately value these companies.
