Paul, You are on a plateau when you can turn off the engine and do not roll back down the slope. With money spend or mundane tasks like share buybacks the engine is indeed slowing. That money would be better spent on R&D to avoid the Rambus fiasco as well as to solve the problems they have with other chips. Possibly those problems are not cinducive to extra money=permenently insoluble?, is Rambus permanently broken?
I see Intel has seen 75 again?. here comes 70
