RE <<<For a guy who LOVES AMD - whose stock has been essentially flat-lined for 16 years - you seem clueless that Intel has invested in over 150 companies and is making a full court press on the Internet Communications/Commerce business, including the purchase of half a dozen - or more - companies in these fields.>>>

If intc is diversifying so well, why are revenues up only 14% this year when CSCO's and DELL's, two other members of the Nasdaq 50, are up 43% and 42% respectively (Zack's Research). Seems to me intc is a little short.

BTW how is intc's Q4 shaping up?

Paul, When Intel has the cash and need to buy it's own stock this means it should do more diversification. It is true that they have so much cash that they run the risk of running out of places to use it, depending on their management decisions, which have not been very good over the past year or two.
