Ian i tend to disagree,first off this problem could be solved in 1day of overtime,it was just discovered 48hrs ago so give the engineers some time.2nd dram makers obviously have a vested interest in pushing a non royalty product.3rd
if you dont think fud isn,t part of the game,its not true.
btw i'm not bent on a stk going to the heavens..perhaps the cirrus cloud region..lol!

Disagree with you on that one old chap. Even Intel needs the goodwill of the industry. If Intel drops DRDRAM, they loose face and favor with literally hundreds of companies who have invested zillions of $ building the supply chain: the packaging, the test equipment, the connectors the boards etc etc etc.

Not even Intel IMHO can risk that. Nothing else would turn the industry towards new developments from the competition (VIA) faster
