Welcome back engineer....I think I speak for many on this thread in saying that your effort in educating us is greatly appreciated.

The improvement is to take the 10x system and increase it to a 12-18x system.

Wow...I just can't see how AT&T will manage to ever compete. PCS should be able to slash prices (or just increase minutes) significantly over the next year or so. It's going to be fun (and profitable) to watch....

I understand in theory CDMA can be 3x-4x more efficient than TDMA.

What is it in the field today? (30-40% more than TDMA?)

What was this figure one year ago?

What do you expect the figure to be one, three, five years out?
