"AT&T will scrap its TDMA system for CDMA". Stranger things have happened, but I for one am not adding to my QCOM position on the basis of the rumor.

I have always agreed with this position and have never included either AT&T or Europe overlaying IS-95 into my projections of the Q. However I cant figure out how AT&T wireless will compete over the next two years. A recent Lehman report states that PCS expects an 8 fold increase in capacity due to the use of smart antennas, 1xrtt and EVRC.
ATT doesnt have data and cant offer voice as cheaply. I honestly cannot figure out what they are going to do....except bleed money.

Something I have never seen addressed....Do you think AT&T wireless is at least EBITDA positive? I hate accounting gimmicks, but this seems to be what is used with wireless carriers.
