I always wondered why this thread failed to notice the accomplishment of AMD with respect to 200MHZ Front Side Bus. I don't think it would be much difficult to have 400MHZ FSB motherboards with AMD's approach. The Athlon FSB connections are point to point connections and hence much easier to implement on motherboards than a very high speed bus like Rambus.
