No, you click on add new printer, , then click next, then click local printer, then click HAVE DISK, put your disk (CD or Floppies) in the drive and search the disk for right file.

Your disks that came with your printer should be for your 610 printer.

If memory serves me correct the file extension is "inf"

maybe it's a matter of inserting the disk in drive A, clicking OK and then the correct bj printer will appear on the scroll list.
