Nope, I bought them. Selling calls is low-risk and that is the strategy that I typically follow.

<If there is no pre-announcement of any bad news from AMD before the end of September, my WAG is that the stock could easily go into low teens in the first week of October.>

I guess anything is possible but I have a hard time seeing this quarter being worse than analyst consensus estimates - and I am expecting them to beat the consensus pretty handily and get a pop.

My concerns right now have strictly to do with Q4 forecast.

I have to agree with you on this one, Goutama ... I'm "short" AMD
and I'm looking for the same result.
