Yeah he was the nemesis for Dell as well besides being one for Intel,guess he has taken over the reign from that imbecile Kurlak,ex Merrill Lynch guy. Don't know about his lineage but looks very Indian.

Yes, Dan Niles is an Indian. He has had some outrageous comments about tech stocks and Micron in particular early this year. He called for $200 on MU. And then he woke-up to the facts and reality. He is among the few to see troubles at Dell and Intel (I know Mohan M disagrees, that is his prerogative.) The fact that these stocks have traded higher than what they were at the time of his downgrades doesn't mean a squat. i.e. it doesn't prove that he is wrong. His call on RMBS today is fairly old news who are really keeping up to date with the stuff. It is better late than never. On that count I applaud him.
