QQQ TA: day's hi:120 5/8; 4 times above 120; that's a clear enough signal to me that I increased my Nasdaq 100 puts, in the last hour today, to a total of 9% of my portfolio. Now, I think, I'll stand pat. Bring on the executive honesty, Y2K, fed raisings, dollar fallings, PE contractions, liquidity tightenings, and maybe a sector rotation out of tech. I'm ready. My puts have at least 6 months to run, and I'm betting that, even if the market recovers, I'll get a chance to sell the puts when qqq is 10-20% off its highs. If 127 turns out to be the top, I got all my puts within 1-6% of the top.
