Lisa, Yes I can believe it, because the "East Lake Mall" near where I live was turned into an office complex shortly after the big new "Brandon Mall" opened. It seems that a lot of the smaller malls are being sold and used for different purposes when a "Super Mall" comes to town. I mentioned these because I know you're familiar with the area.

Lisa, I don't know what massive structures you are referring to but, there is such a revival going on that space for the Faith Based Christians has been hard to come by. If you are talking about some of the ostentatious architectural eyesores, I can not explain the reasoning for that but, do not blame this building boom strictly on the tele-evangelists because traditional denominational religions are just as guilty of massive structures. Some of the Baptist and Methodist churches around Houston take up two city blocks with their complexes of sanctuaries, Sunday schools, and regular schools. You might also look at the monstrous cathedrals of the Catholics which have been being built for centuries. Most of the buildings that accommodate the types of groups that I worship with, build very no-frill buildings.^ ^ ^TD
