PC-133 simply replaces PC-100. The high-performance segment of the market is going to start moving to RDRAM or DDR, and one of those will move down the cost curve, eventually taking over from PC-133.

No. I guess it depends on what you mean by "high performance". If you mean 8-way SMP machines, yeah, they might use DDR. But not mainstream high-performance machines. There's just no reason. Let's face it, nobody would even be considering using Rambus on mainstream high-performance PCs if Intel weren't pushing it.
