William-thanks for the kind words and prayers. In a strange way, I am left with a sense of well-being in the face of this crisis. One, because my losses were mostly replaceable things, and far less severe than many others in the region, and two, that I have the resources to recover, not just the financial resources, but the mental and emotional resources as well. Many victims will lack all of that. Flood insurance: I live in what the insurance industry describes as a 500 year flood zone, meaning that it should not flood more than once every 500 years. I probably still will not buy flood insurance. Like yourself, I am looking for a strong market beginning in the next few weeks. Hope we're right! billwot
