Re: Just for Feet. Is that the one with larger footage stores (no pun intended) <g>? I was in the city (SF) the night before last and noticed there's one about to open on Powell street.

I stay out of retail equity for some wrong reason. I sold Price Costco in 1995 or 96 for $22. I don't WANT to know what it is now. I also didn't reposition into The Gap in 1997 which was the 'one that got away' for me. I started watching The Gap because of their relationship with Sun. Home Depot was another one, but I didn't get so 'right there' with it and not execute the transaction as did I with The Gap.

So Easties- Neither Zander nor McNealy were quoted on CNBC, or seen on Moneyline or other business TV show? I guess I wrong about the impact of the flaming Ballmerite striking the earth. The market seems to be learning the score.

Twister- It's occurring to me that M$.com is already *priced as a .com. You're right. SUNW is a product company. Your guys are "product" making wannabes. The other side to their coin is that they have all of these non-monopoly arranged electrons to sell into the open market.

I think this would be a good time for you to *really look into this Solaris on Sparc thing. Really.
