That is interesting...but the main thing is that there is no established valuation for many of these, it is all speculative. Even Amazon, which has increased the volume of business enormously in the last couple of years, doesn't show a profit. It has an infinite price/earnings ratio, so to speak....

I believe that most of the high techs that specialize in fixing Y2K problems are already floundering besides the problem seems to have been less daunting than advertised.

But that should be a boon for other high techs since it was projected that they would suffer as spending flowed into Y2K readiness and away from regular business.
