France backs India for permanent seat

UNITED NATIONS: France has expressed strong support for
India's claim to permanent membership in an expanded Security Council, saying it sees New Delhi as an essential ingredient in any such exercise.

During talks between external affairs minister Jaswant Singh and his French counterpart Hubert Vedrine on Thursday, the ministers were of view that terrorism emanating from Taliban-controlled areas needed to be dealt within a wider worldwide context and not in the narrow band of Indo-Pak relations.

India and France agree that Sharif lost the grip. Us warns the pakistan military about take-over. All three can't be wrong. Musharaff expressed implied disagreement with Sharif about kargil Pullback. Unstable Pakistan is not good for India. Please God, I mean, Washington, come to our aid

According to a senior official, the two ministers saw Pakistan as a state in crisis - not economic but political. It was, they felt, not clear who controlled the country - the army or political leadership. (PTI)

Mohan

I sure did. I saw it at 44 and wanted to buy it but was stuck in several stocks from the previous day.

Eventually I will get into it.
