Gopher Broke, I came within a "phone call interruption" of shorting RMBS at 95 and didn't! Now, psychologically, I'm afraid I "missed it." Anyhow, Intel should have headed south this afternoon. Who knows how many shares they bought back today supporting the price.

RE <<<The market does not appear to see it that way. Anyone else think that RMBS is dead? Still worth a short at these levels?>>>

I think the stock to short is intc and not rmbs. Even though rmbs's float is large enough to short, its too volatile; to much of the stock may be owned by "insiders". Whereas intc broke its trend line about two weeks ago and has been breaking down ever since. 32 million (1/2 of 64) shares crossed yesterday. At least now we know why the chart was starting to get ugly.

I still would like to know why NILES keeps saying that intc will sell 2 million less pc chips than ordered.....in flies in the face of the huge demand that everyone else is talking about.
