I think, in tight timing situations, regimens, like when they're expecting you to study, making a bed you need to get back in, is a silly, stupid, waste of time. Duh.

(Except for "presentation." That is, "I have this bed here handy. Would you like to lie down?") You know, opportunity does knock. It's a truism.

Try to make sure there's smooth, ungritty not graphite-slippery surfaces between the sheets. No delays like sandwich crusts or Nacho Dorito stubs.

It's important to pull the sheets up for the tablecloth.

I know if I were a girl (can I say that?) ~ I would want the illusion of Clean Ward sheets. No foolin.

This is I think your Big Difference between the "practical necessity" of an un-made bed, and you're an effing slob. I have never met, I hope I never meet, a girl who likes slob. I think the ramifications of that are obvious. Disgusting.

Jeez.

When ya get older, and have "rooms", actual rooms, bedrooms, you can make the bed.

Or sleep on top of the made bed, as I do. A little fluff here and there, a chiaroscuro bed spread ~ and the entire interior of the bed remains pristine. It's pretty cool. You can even venture there yourself.

Turn it down for her. "You might be warmer under the blankets."

Turn it down?

She won't.

Now; if I can stay awake, I think I can remember how the rest of it goes.

Maybe not.

You know, clothes, are really sheets.
