Well, I think the biggest reason is that arba and cmrc are purchasing engines and the mkt is looking at the business space and seeing the potential that every purchase ever made by business could go through either cmrc or arba. There are possibilities for transaction fees etc.

Otoh, agile is in the PDM space, which has existed for a while btw... but agil has enhanced the traditional capability with the internet apparently... anyway PDM is a part of manufacturing which currently is useful only if you are building something.

The caviat is I'm not sure arba will ever be able to break into the order cycle and if not, then they are grossly overvalued. But then everybody is... nothing new.

On another thread somebody posted that VERT auctioned off 40mm in power plant sales, if you can believe that. Vert is good in this space because there are options available.
