Well, Niles' revised recommendations certainly don't challenge that long-term course; for those who haven't heard the live interview, the link below provides the Rambus assessment at the very end.

His early comments, expecially those directed at Intel's rollout problems are worth hearing, if only as a gauge of some of the current street talk. In that vein, I fail to understand Niles' logic in suggesting higher prices for competitive DRAM make RDRAM less able to compete pricewise. Am I missing something I should have remembered from Econ 101, price elasticity, supply & demand, etc or is this guy spreading FFUD (fake FUD), and if so, for what purpose? Zeev, I think I'm headed back to some of your 2-week old posts for a review!!

Today 9/27 is dissemination date for Short interest. 9/24 was release date. Do you have the number or is it of any value any more.
