Ibexx - RE: ""Intel's Coppermine processors have really surprised us, giving a significant performance advantage over not only current Pentium III's, but also AMD Athlon systems at the same clock speed," says Chris Connolly, Head of Web Operations at GamePC."

Interesting...

I just checked out this company's website and it seems like they have no idea what a Coppermine is.

Go here - gamepc.com
and click on the 533B or 600B and within the description you will see - "25 Micron Coppermine architecture".

No such things exists on desktops!

And another anomaly - "B" is for 133MHz bus and "E" is for Coppermine. They claim to be selling Coppermines when it is the PIII running on the 133MHz bus they are selling and nothing else at all.

"Almost every BX motherboard currently produced supports the 133 MHz bus speed, so users won't have to upgrade their motherboards to see significant performance gains."

Somebody should tell this to Intel !

They seem to be in the DARK !
