Haim, I've seen little evidence of any cooling in the housing market. Most are convinced the Fed will not raise rates on the 5th, which I believe is correct. Whether the Fed moves to a bias to tighten is a more difficult call. However, unless we see signs that the economy is cooling before the November meeting, which I don't think is likely, the Fed will raise rates then. Of course, we all know what will happen if the stock market tanks before Easy Al gathers his merry band in November. You may be right about the bonds, but I saw 115.16 as first resistance, which was today's high. Events over the weekend will dictate whether the bounce has more to go. I agree we could see a move to 116.16 - 117 if the market is still well bid on Monday.
