Elmer,

Re:"coppermine performance"

Well I will be interested to see the benchmarks.

I will be surprised to see the coppermine exceed the Athlon's in a gaming environment as GamePc.

I had heard some folks estimating that Coppermine may be faster on some integer apps - just like K6-3.

I have NOT written off Intel, and in fact bought into Rambus as an AMD hedge. I figured the Coppermine/RDRAM combo may be a real deal, or at worst a great hype job in which case Rambus would rocket.

Oh well.........

regards,

Kash

Elmer,
did GamePC pull the press release from their home website, or am I overlooking it?

The 50 Caliber system is there but the press release disappeared.
