Is that the sign of an oncoming bear market? Maybe, but then every passing car and guy named Steve shooting from the hip looks like an oncoming bear to me. That 278 new lows yesterday (and we haven't even gotten to October yet so those new lows are inclusive of 98's lowest point) is the clearest sign to me that something is very wrong. And I'm nearly fully invested. ;) If I'm going to beat the bear, I'm not going to run from it. If I could electronically scream and wave, that's what I'd be doing right now. "These are my stocks and you ain't getting them! Argh!" Good investing, Mike
