You just had to post ole Chipmunk's ramblings - didn't ya! Just when I thought maybe a bottom was near. <g>

Confession and heads up: The contrarion indicator, benkea, has gotten very long (from 75% to about 95%) over the last couple of days. SHORT AWAY <g>.

D, Jerry has been calling a bottom for 500 points.

Well you can't trust any guru's read, because their indicators and bias can work only in certain circumstances and as much as I respect GZ's acumen of the market, i see a lot of hero worship of him and he has made mistakes and is usually early in his dipping, but i believe he is correct that a bottom is near in time, but for price i don't believe so, i think the crash potential is there.

Favors was wrongly bearish on much of the rally off last oct and now he is calling bottoms all the way down the top, i suppose when he finally turns bearish we can buy -g-

Nasdaq is still in the neutral range (with the 14-day Wilder RSI around 48 for both Nasdaq averages). Plus with the ADX/R having crossed above 25 for the Dow and S&P, it's a strong downtrend. So far, the two broadest averages NYSE and S&P 500 have decisively broken their 200-day moving average with the S&P 100 and the Dow potentially next and the Nasdaq trailing/leading (depending on your point of view).
