It's interesting that the makers of soft drinks aren't required to post the levels of caffeine in the drink, but over-the-counter pill makers are, and they are required to put warnings on the pills to warn against ingesting too much caffeine. The FDA wouldn't comment on why this is so. The drink makers can put in all they want. There are now several drinks that boast that they have high levels. Jolt isn't the king any more.
