Maybe that's why the walmart exec in charge of their logistics and warehouses quit? He saw things falling apart and wanted to get out while the getting was good.

Doubtful. Amazon's service is still excellent fro what I have heard. Of course with millions of orders, there will be exceptions and occasionally a customer will have trouble. I imagine that even today any email concerning service will be answered personally and courteously. Thank goodness someone sets this standard for consumers, because we all know there are many companies who can't handle, or do not understand, email communication.

Randy

P.S. I love the headline story on msnbc.com right now:

msnbc.com

Perhaps they thought it prudent to provide some balance to the MSFT president's commentary on stock prices?

KIS,

Place a dozen orders through AMZN, BNBN, CDnow, or any major name and I suspect you will receive your products from each of these in a timely fashion.

Hey, kis, I just got back from working out at the Y on Ross Road. On the way back, I stopped at an Open House just for fun. An 1,800 sq. ft. Eichler listed for 1,050,000! And they'll get it too. The house was listed for 900K 2 months ago and got several offers over a million. (But they had to postpone the sale for personal reasons.)

My advice: stick close to the tracks, kid! And keep saving those pennies!
