Hutch, This was AFTER I had performed 1. Scandisk, 2. Disk Defragmentation and 3. Delete Unnecessary Files all via Maintenance Wizard (Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and Maintenance Wizard for those on the thread who are computer neophytes like me!). I am on a cable modem which, I guess, was running pretty freely last evening! BTW, I'm running Windows '98 (1st edition) and just upgraded to IE5. By the way, Hutch, I have a question about clearing memory cache. Is that going into Internet Options and clearing the Temporary Internet Files, is it Clearing History, or both or none of the above?
