Agreeing GNET's share performance is quite fine relatively & IMHO even lately.... remember just 5 weeks ago the pps was in the mid-40's ?! A rise from that point to 70 means some nice money for a months work! So there was profit-taking when it started to go retro this week, especially in the wake of so many (keyword du jour: overvalued) remarks whacking the sector again as of late especially these last 2 days flying around from all points of the compass. Difficult to predict what Monday will bring.
"Overvalued" is getting played-out and quickly overused. Maybe The Next Phrase That Pays will be codeword-embedded in a floating crosshatch of the NY Times Sunday Crosswords, or is it when One of 'em hits on The Next Secret Word that moves it so then the others can jump on board quick? That's where their money and power comes from, the ability to move it... everyone notices who starts it so then their credibility moves up a notch. Why these StockShoppingShow Newscasters don't need to do any DD is because Talking Heads already got everything they need - A Certificate of Media Credibility. That so many of them obviously don't have a grip on the stocks or the market while at the same time they are a Force To Drive It - it's a paradox but it's reality. They're actors reading lines from a script someone else wrote, where could they find the time to do the research and writing too? And those Analysts employed by funds banks & brokerages are foxes in charge of the henhouse. How could it be otherwise?
So where does that put us? Not on the throne! We're just the little guys doing our DD in the dark holding our breath to hear what the next codeword from 'em will be. Juggling jigsaw puzzle pieces, at the edge of our seats while "they" keep taking it to The Edge, staying calm waiting for 'em to get in the mood to pump up the jam again... what a thrill & That's About As Good As It Gets.
Hold Onto The Bar,
Joana
