I realize no one remembers I said Rambus would not happen, but now that it has happened, the key point is it will bode well for Micron. Micron was smart by carefully limiting any early real $$ commitment or wafer starts like what Samsung
has done. Can you imagine how Samsung feels right now. They are hearing the sucking sound big time. Their Q4
was totally committed to ship most of the RAMBUS usage in the market and now they have to sit on it. NO PC guy like a Dell is going to guarantee taking product no matter what.
In my humble opinion Micron is in the best position possible to maximize shipments in Q4 with increasing yields and transition to .18 as well as continuing strong prices in the spot which in turn continue to drive up OEM prices which Micron will benefit the most from. I think the conference call with Micron will surprisingly be the most positive going forward and will be good news for longs.

Any comments where Micron is heading or Dell? How low will Rambus go? Is there a reason someone would buy Rambus once it gets to that low point maybe in the 50'S? Intel must be
feeling tough right now.
Good trading.
