Your reply to me had a tone that I did something wrong. <<don't you dare misinterpret my comments>> You say this just after you said the following. <<self promotion doesn't seem to fit in to the general good>> My understanding of the phrase "self promotion" on this thread is just a way for someone to stand tall and tell others that I am here, and what you see is what you get. "self promotion" is to urge others to buy into what you are selling, which is either facts or a question or simply an idea that you wish to be discussed. You go for a job interview and do "self promotion", just like when you meet a new "possible", if you are available. Seems like <<doesn't seem to fit in to the general good>> for some people are words like I, self, selfish, ego. Now the word egotism is accepted as not nice, but in my opinion that word should be deleted from dictionaries because the word egocentric is a very good and desirable condition. Doug
