Mr. Panama, Good morning as well! Still short DELL, AMZN, YHOO, and DCLK. Not worried about any margin calls. These babies would have to go up about 200% each for me to have to cover any. I just shorted 200-300 of each (nothing major yet). Just starting to build up my short positions. I started playing both long and short positions after last October. This market is great for both longs and shorts - just have to be nimble! Going into 2000, I think we'll see these stocks go down before we see any new highs taken out by INUTS. Investors aren't willing to risk their cash on holding issues over the last quarter. I will really start to build on short positions once earnings season starts. Even with great earnings, techs always Fall back to insane low levels. We've all been through great highs and lows with stocks. I think last Nov. 30th was worse than the entire month of October. Does anyone remember seeing premarket bids on Nov. 30th, stocks up 10+ dollars each everywhere! When the market opened - servers froze and no one could cash out unless they had market orders in which were executed of course on very low prices. This Fall we be very interesting to say the least! I can wait until they start falling even if they do continue to rise. If they rise sharply, I'll short some more because history is in my favor of selling on the news! Starting in January - I'll be playing long again depending how the market looks. In the meantime, I'll be playing long recent IPO's, etc. for the quick money then out - nothing long term right now. Hoping to get CLIC on Monday. Glenn Check out this article:thestreet.com
