"The Constitution was designed to prevent the tyranny of the majority and insulating against the popular will is integral to that design." - Raving stupidity. The Constitution was designed to institute the policies supported by the majority while protecting the right of dissenters to work to change it. You have no right to decide not to pay taxes, but you have every right to speak and campaign for change. That's why we have the right of free speech which protects everyone's right to express their ideas in an appropriate forum, as daft as those ideas may be.
