20/20 & Super Bowl Analogy....................
Any Madison Ave advertising firm when advised by their
client that they intend to purchase a slot during the Super
Bowl will spend countless hours creating the most eye-catching, innovative ad they can come up with. Why? Because they are aware of the humongous audience!!!!!!!!
I would hazard to guess that Hugh's last 20/20 garnered a
vast viewership.
IMO, this was a TOTAL SLAM DUNK opportunity for AXC. Not
only was it Hugh's last 20/20 - BUT HE WAS MOVING ON TO
iNEXTV!!! You just COULD NOT ASK for a better GOLDEN setup.
Perhaps it would have sparked retail buying driving our stock price up. In turn, this could prompt some forward looking internet analyst to come out with at least a "speculative buy".
Remember, analysts are a very "fear driven" group. They are
paralyzed with fear about being wrong on a recommendation.
If retail support is shown, maybe an analyst or two will
follow the hilariously funny Bill Wolman's dictum:
" If you see a parade, sometimes your best bet is to go the
front and act like you are leading it ".
....................................................
My perspective (at least stock-price wise) is that we ended
the " HUGH DOWNS HUGE NEWSWEEK" as still an unknown $3 stock.
A so-called "penny stock" in many people's eyes. I don't
mean to be overly critical, but I firmly believe an innovative, forward thinking PR dept/Advertising outfit
would not have let this occur. Go ahead and blast away with
