It was actually going along wonderfully. My cohort in the adventure travel business has been up, an Australian journalist and part-time kayaker. He's now a financial editor for AFX Asia, but he spent a number of years covering Indonesia, speaks Bahasa, and is a pretty well read guy on the topic. We spoke a bit about Timor, and I learned some things, refined the thoughts a bit, aside from having fun paddling around the bay. Then I came back, turned on my computer, read a few things, and something just snapped.
