wall street analyst's used to be wrong often but they at least did some homework.that no longer appears to be the case.it is far easier and more profitable to just make up stuff and gun the stocks higher

As always, you slice to the heart of the matter.

The alledged "chinese wall" that used to exist between the analyst and retail side of the brokerage has broken down and analyst's are held hostage to their firms desire to move a particular issue which they quite likely helped to underwrite.

And that is one of the inherent problems with GNET. They didn't follow the traditional route towards success by going to an Investment bank to do an IPO. With the IPO process comes retail support from the brokers, and thus analyst support. So hopefully with Charter's IPO, GNET will develop a sympathy following from more brokers on the street.

We know the big boys punch the "squawk box" button to push a particular stock because they usually have too much inventory and want to sell it off to the public. So we see an upgrade, or a buy recommendation pop off.

I'm sure you'll let me know if my cynical take on this matter is incorrect.

Good to see you're still following the thread.

Regards,

Ron
