As long as you do not get creamed...I am not a gambler. I am the sort of person who visits Atlantic City periodically out of sociological interest. If I even play a slot, I set a five dollar limit, and when I lose it, I walk away...and I only did that once....

I am having too much fun choosing issues and then cheering or cursing them on to adapt a "passive" strategy quite yet.

This is so true. I envision a giant croupier, sort of like the Jolly Green Giant, only covered with dollar bills instead of peas, and he oversees a roulette wheel filled with stock names instead of numbers.
Free drinks and cheap trading. We sit at our computers placing our bets every day as the Great Wheel of Fortune spins to make or break us.

And like all addicts we have our systems- sure that today we can beat the system.
