Steve and Yougang - <So I look for no formal delay in the announcement of the coppermine CPUs.>

Despite the i820 situation, I still expect Coppermines to roll at the end of October. There are many variables that can be played with in the interim to allow a full scale launch.

Still waiting for Intel's recovery plan for the i820 on Monday.

RE <<<So I look for no formal delay in the announcement of the coppermine CPUs. But I don't expect to see the 133Mhz FSB ones for sale (at least any I would even think about buying i.e. not 820 based) for at least 1 month.>>>

There is been a lot talk about the impact the latest problems will have on rmbs and intc's stock price. But what do you or anyone else think re the impact on AMD's stock?

BTW I keep referring to Niles comments that intc will ship 2 million less pc chips than ordered....I think the 2 million may be cumine and that there may be further problems with it.

What's your take?
