Trade-offs can be a bitch, but a nice house will not be a substitute for work that you find meaningful...About 9 years ago, my dad got a big house, mainly to signal that he was relatively successful, and because it was full of cool stuff, like a jacuzzi. But he miscalculated, and had to get rid of other things that he cared about, in order to handle the overall burden, and, in the end, he seems unhappy with the whole thing....
