The Mckinsey Quarterly brings in its next issue (got an sneak preview in the office) about the wireless.

In a past issue they brought this one: Information unleashed: The coming of wireless data
The McKinsey Quarterly, 1999 Number 2, pp. 88?99

The revenue per subscriber is going down. Every new subscriber brings less revenue than the last one. Operators need to increment the service oferings to charge more. Today the president of the company have the same service as the janitor.

With the new services there will be (perhaps) three classes of usrs, the ones (business users) that will pay for the whole thing, the pure mobile telephony, and the kids downloading and exchanging stuff.

Hope it helps.
